Within the framework of the program “Development of the ecosystem of social entrepreneurship in border areas for green progress”, 4th-year student of the specialty “Agribusiness ” of the Agricultural Faculty of ShUT Nelly Tairyan and 3rd-year student of the specialty “Food Technology” Arsen Mkrtumyan participated in the third stage of the regional youth green camp.
According to the organizers, the purpose of the regional green camp is to strengthen cooperation between young participants, to increase their awareness of climate change, environmental challenges and the circular economy.
During the ten-day camp, students acquired knowledge on entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, environmental challenges and sustainable development, circular economy: “In addition to knowledge, we made new friends, got acquainted with the culture of this region, and since the only language of communication was English, our knowledge of English was also improved,” N. Tairyan said.
The chairman of the jury, ShUT Vice-Rector for Educational and Scientific Works Rosa Avagyan made an introductory speech, welcomed the participants, wishing them success and healthy competition.
The quiz was held in 3 stages, questions on computer science were voiced, and points were distributed according to the correct answers. According to the results of the jury voting, the first place of honor was taken by the INTEL team, the second by the IQ team, and the third by the creators team:
In conclusion, I. Harutyunyan noted that the purpose of the quiz is not just to determine the winner or the loser. “This is an important precondition for professional orientation and obtaining additional knowledge on the subject. Based on the answers, we saw our future steps, that is, our omissions, in the direction of which consistent work will be carried out.”
