The Student Council of Shushi University of Technology initiated a program entitled “Student week” on the eve of Student International Day within the framework of which a number of events had been organized. The Chairman of SC of the university Olesya Sahakyan had noted in her speech: “The purpose of such events is that each student knows the history of Artsakh better from ancient times till our days”.
Within the framework of the program a competition entitled “Our village” was held where the participants had presented the history, sights, customs, traditions and historical monuments of their villages.
The participation of students was graded by points. The jury had given the most points to the freshman of the specialty of “Design” of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction Bella Patvakanyan who presented her native village Berdashen of Martuni region.
The second place was won by freshman of the specialty of “Information Technologies” of the Faculty of “Technology” Hovik Petrosyan from Astghashen village of Askeran region. The third place was won by freshman of the specialty of “Agronomy” of the Faculty of Agriculture Arsen Harutyunyan from Taghavard village of Martuni region.
