The students of the Department of Design and Clothing Modeling “Hakob Gyurjyan” of Shushi University of Technology have presented their final works at Stepanakert Art Gallery today on June 2.
The students have presented the clothing collections to the audience combining traditional and modern art at the clothing show titled “Retro”, “Spring”, “Fleurir (blossom)”, “Sea-apricot” and “Ta-ta”.
“I tried to present the so called “modern” national without losing the love and the faith for the homeland expressing them in my collection. The collection is a wedding where I have given a special place to the ornaments of khachkars”- student Tatevik Hovsepyan has said.
At the end of the exhibition Vice-Rector Rosa Avagyan has thanked the lecturers and students of the department and has noted that the students breathe new life into life. “In fact, 2020 had taken away everything from us, even the desire to wear such a dress, but today our students have tried to give some new shade to life. The embellishment of the dress is binding and the sign of eternity speaks that we are and we will be, we are eternal”- R. Avagyan has said.
