The Chair of Humanities and Languages ​​was established in 2016. in September. 34 main lecturers worked in the department, of which 9 are part-time and 2 are on an hourly basis, as well as 1 full-time senior laboratory technician, 0.5 full-time 2 heads of the cabinet, Mher Aleksandri Harutyunyan, associate professor, was elected as the head of the department as a result of the election. The chair also served 3 pedagogues teaching on an hourly basis in the second year of the specialty “Mechanization of Agriculture” of the Ishkhanadzor community of the Kashatagh region. The training of students and the educational process were organized and carried out according to the established order in 20 subjects.

In September of 2019, the chair was divided into “Humanities” and “Languages”. Currently, 14 main lecturers work in the department, 2 of them on an hourly basis, 2 on a joint basis, as well as 1 full-time senior laboratory assistant.
