A group of students from different courses of the Department of “Hakob Gyurjyan” Design and Cloths Modeling of Shushi University of Technology passed training in Yerevan under the guidance of lecturers Lusine Mirzajanyan and Anush Martirosyan on June 6-11.
According to Anush Martirosyan, this experiment was very important for strengthening the theoretical knowledge. “Students participated in the training with great interest as they had the opportunity to master our professional nuances strengthening theoretical knowledge through practice. Such training broadens the student’s mind and knowledge.”
The university students got acquainted with the cultural preservation activities of “Teryan””cultural center, the history of Armenian costumes, jewelry as a cultural event and other values of cultural heritage.
Students of the Department of “Hakob Gyurjyan” Design and Cloths Modeling were shown archeological materials from the ancient period of Armenian history to the modern history at the Museum of History of Armenia.
Within the framework of the training, the students also visited the house-museums of Sergey Parajanov and Lusik Aguletsi. The university students got acquainted with the whole process of carpet weaving, the details of the raw materials of the carpets, dyes and used tools at “Megerian Carpet” company.
