The assistants of the scientific library of Shushi University of Technology Irina Arakelyan and Nonna Arakelyan headed by librarian Razmela Sayiyan participated in training courses at American University of Armenia from August 8 – 12.
The aim of the program was the share and obtaining of new professional skills and knowledge. During the course, specialists got acquainted with the nuances of organizing service with “Koha” library system and cataloging, etc. “The course was very instructive, we gained a lot of valuable knowledge which we will use in our everyday work,” – I. Arakelyan said.
During the training, the university representatives visited Central Library after Av. Isahakyan, the National Library of Armenia and the Scientific Library of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia.
At the end of the courses the participants received certificates.
