Painter Hrazdan Tokmajyan had a talk-lecture on “Ancient Armenian embroidery” for the students of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction of Shushi University of Technology on October 17 and 18.
The speaker referred to the features of embroidery, their types, typical ornaments as well as the influence of other nations on Armenian culture.
Presenting the embroidery of Cilicia, Marash, Van, Urfa and Aintap as an inseparable part of Armenian culture, painter Hrazdan Tokmajyan emphasized: “We should always keep our culture in the center of attention so that it continues to be Armenian”.
