A quick chess tournament has recently been organized in «Rafayel Vahanyan kinder and teenager sport school» SNTO dedicated to 44 day war hero Gevorg Arshakyan and all victims of 2020 war.
Student team of Shushi University of Technology has also participated in the tournament headed by Assistant lecturer of the Chair of the Humanities Gagik Osipyan. «During the tournament the students came closer to each other and enhanced their knowledge of chess»,- G.Osipyan has noted.
The tournament has been held by Swiss competition method with 8 rounds according to the rules of Chess International Federation.
In a tensed competition with 12 chess players of Chess school of the Republic of Armenia in the nomination of the «Best team» Shushi team has become the winner and has been awarded a medal and gratitude letter. And the student of Shushi University of Technology Sergey Khachaturyan has been recognized among the top ten in individual tournament and has been awarded medal and gratitude letter.
