The summative exhibition of “Hayel” photo club has been held on the initiative of the Department of Foreign Relations of Shushi University of Technology today where students’ photos have been presented. The aim of the exhibition has been to create photo paintings about the surrounding environment and people through photography and to contribute to the awareness of the staff and the environment.
Students have had online meetings with experts in the field after parallel with participating in six-month courses and have been able to learn the secrets of photography. “This program gave the students the opportunity to gain knowledge about photography, the ability to fix the moment, and, which is the most important, to be able to reflect the environment through “talking pictures”, – noted the head of the department Lusine Aydinyan.
Choosing the photo as a means of communication, a 3rd-year student of the specialty of “Economics” of Shushi University of Technology Artur Shekyan, has presented the eldest person of village Sznek in his photo. “We see 86-year-old resident and pedagogue Artyusha Mikayelyan in the photo, who lived and worked there all his life. And there is great pain in his eyes because the photo shows the absence of youth in the village,” – Arthur has said.
