A master class on “Geodesic Networks” was held at Shushi University of Technology on the initiative of the Department of Architecture, Urban Planning, Energy and Water Systems which was conducted by a lecturer of the department, head of the Department of Sustainable Management of forests and Implementation of forest construction programs of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Artsakh Vahram Aharonyan. “I am very happy about our meeting and I will try to share my experience and approaches in this field which will contribute to the development of students’ professional abilities”, – said he.
The speaker shared professional knowledge with the students of the specialty of “Civil and Industrial engineering” and “Urban construction cadastre” and presented general information about the geodetic network and state geodesy, as well as the classification of geodetic networks by meaning and by area coverage. V. Aharonyan introduced the students to modern geodetic equipment which enables accurate geodetic measurements that are the basis for construction and design works.
The master class was attended by the Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of the Republic of Artsakh Vilen Safaryan who emphasized the holding of such events and noted that they contributed to the development of young professionals. “It was quite a full and professionally organized lecture. The displayed tools are devices used internationally which are also used in the territory of our republic and are constantly updated and supplemented to this day”,-V.Safaryan noted.
