An Olympiad has been held at Shushi University of Technology today entitled “In the World of Information Technology” on the initiative of the Department of Foreign Relations aimed at increasing the public interest in natural science and to strengthen the university-school cooperation. It has been organized for the students of the senior classes of the schools of the regional centers and the students of the higher educational institutions of Artsakh at Paul Eluard Francophonie House- Center in Stepanakert.
“The purpose of subject Olympiads is to identify and find our talents and not only those who can have great progress in this field’, – the member of the jury, Candidate of Technical Sciences of the Department of Natural Science, Communication, Media and Information Technologies, Associate Professor Irena Harutyunyan has noted.
The students of Shushi University of Technology, “Grigor Narekatsi” University, School of Physics and Mathematics after Artashes Shahinyan, “Anania Shirakatsi” Seminary, students of high school N11 after V.Jhangiryan, high schools of Shushi and Askeran regions have participated in the Olympiad in teams.
The jury has distributed the points according to the correct answers, and as a result, the first prize has been awarded to “META” team (Secondary School of Shushi after Kh. Abovyan), the second to “INFO” team (Shushi University of Technology), and the third has been gone to “INTEL” (School of Physics and Mathematics after A. Shahinyan).
