«ARTSAKH STEM EXPO 2023» was held in Stepanakert on August 6 the aim of which was to enhance the interest of the students towards Science, Technology, Architecture and Mathematics. The Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction Manushak Titanyan painfully stated that the youth had recently stopped to study natural sciences.
«The necessity of stem is highlighted in these debates as a necessary but not satisfactory factor for business activity as when there is no business, there is no Judiciary and no Economy because they have come to serve the development of humanity in general.Their development leads to business»- M.Titanyan noted.
««ARTSAKH STEM EXPO» was first organized in Martakert last year by teacher-tutor of the program «Teach Armenia» Artavazd Boyajyan who was teaching in Maghavuz secondary school. As a result of Artsakh blockade A.Boyajyan stayed in Armenia but due to the efforts of his friends the exhibition has been held this year» – Milena Avetisyan has said. «We are very proud that even in this situation we managed to organize our exhibition even though one part of our team is in Armenia and the other is in different regions of Artsakh. I consider it as great success».
Panel discussion was held within the framework of the event where the participants asked questions to the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction of the university Manushak Titanyan, founder-director of the company «Capital Soft» Arthur Mnatsakanyan and founder of «GG» Khachatur Grigoryan.
The Minister of Education, Science, Sport and Culture of the Republic of Artsakh Norayr Mkrtchyan welcomed the participants and organizers «ARTSAKH STEM EXPO 2023» and noted: «Every idea should be invested to develop and strengthen our country Artsakh and this platform is such a favorable platform that we can generate our ideas and thoughts to push forward the science development in Artsakh» – he said.
The participant companies and higher educational institutions presented their productions and made suggestions. The stall of «Real school» program of Shushi University of Technology was chosen as the best and was awarded prizes and diplomas.
