The 1st and 2nd year students of the specialty of “Design” of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction of Shushi University of Technology were in Yerevan on informative visit accompanied by lecturer Anahit Ohanyan from December 8-11.
As part of the visit, the students visited the Non Governmental Organization “Palace of Fashion and Design” in order to develop their professional skills where they got acquainted with the latest events of the fashion business.
Lectures about branding were given to design students at the leading Armenian creative industry studio “Backbone Branding” by specialists in the field led by co-founder and creative director Stephan Azaryan. According to lecturer Anahit Ohanyan, the visit was effective. “The students developed the ideas of implementing and creating new programs in Artsakh and realized that it is not necessary to study in other countries to become a good specialist. One can also reach great success in his/her own country”,- A. Ohanyan said.
At the Institute of Water Issues and Hydraulic Engineering after Academician I.V. Yeghiazarov the Head of the Experimental laboratory of Architecture and Design, Candidate of Architecture Mushegh Tokmajyan lectured on the topic of furniture fashion for university students.
The students of the university visited fashion store-salon “5 Concept” created by designers, the house-museum of Martiros Saryan and “Two Arcs” art platform.
