The first year college students of Shushi University of Technology visited the memorial complex accompanied by their lecturers which is being built in Stepanakert in memory of the victims of the struggle for the survival of the Armenian nation

The visit was initiated by lecturer of the Chair of the Humanities of the university Varduhi Balayan which followed several goals. “The visit has a historical and at the same time educational purpose. We have tried to combine learning the rules of behavior of students in public places with learning the history of our nation”- V. Balayan said.

The memorial complex is being built with the idea and financing of Moscow businessman and philanthropist Simon Petrosyan. The tour guide presented the students the history of the Armenian nation depicted on the stone building from ancient times to the present day.
